Excellent choice. But you're reported for not following the rules.
Which rule did I break now?Excellent choice. But you're reported for not following the rules.
You can only choose one.
Hey man, so how'd that dentist appointment go?There's always someone that will fuck it up. Well done@sparkuri
Ha, an invitation to de-rail another thread, I can't pass up.Hey man, so how'd that dentist appointment go?
Good one also. I like Dylan's own version as well.
I always assumed they were talking about him being in a good moodI have a question about Hotel California. When the guy says "please bring me my wine" and they respond with "we haven't had that spirit here since 1959" ( or something like that)
Are they talking about the guy being in good mood because he wants to knock a few back and they haven't seen someone with that much spirit in a long time, or are they just referring to the wine as a spirit and they don't have any to give him?
I think about that every time I hear the lyrics to this song.
Fuck Yeah! Me too. But I've been told I'm wrong.I always assumed they were talking about him being in a good mood
Song lyrics that dont make any sense is a whole new thread on it's own.Fuck Yeah! Me too. But I've been told I'm wrong.
Technically wine isn't a spirit when it comes to alcoholic beverages, so I've always leaned towards his mood.
There cannot be just one.
Me, too. Did you ever watch Storytellers on VH1 ? Matchbox Twenty was my favorite.Thanks. The song appeals to me because it has a lot of everything, layered, well written. A song Paul wrote in protest of drug laws. But for the longest time I thought it was about being isolated, and finally breaking free.
I love the stories behind music, as they add another dimension, meaning. I'm sure Hotel California has its back stories.
