I want to build the most innovative house ever, so yeah I’m in - already have geothermal in the current house, so getting there….
I'm about to run corregated pipe throughout the property & pond for geothermal.!

Would you mind telling us about your geothermal system, you filthy hippy.

Seriously, I've always thought they were really cool.

I did a presentation though thermal and other stuff back in college, but that was like 5 years ago so I can't remember that.
I've been pumped full of fentanyl since then.

But I'm going to run some pipe in the pond and then Bury it about 4 feet deep coming out of the pond and then running to the heat pump. Gives me that low variation in temperature.
I'm not sure exactly what pipe to run in the pond though because my bass Have taken up shop along with catfish.
I'm thinking about just burying it in the yard about 8 feet deep.

Been a long time since I have looked into it but IIRC water is a better transfer than underground. There were a couple systems that used drilled wells, some would just have one well for draw and dump but using two separate wells was way more efficient.
