This is the worst movie review I've ever read. How dare you, sir. How dare you!
I watched the original again the other night. I remember Kelly McGillis being much hotter in that movie than I view her now. Possibly my outlook is swayed because she has aged like milk left out in the sun, but in my most recent viewing she was decidedly not hot.
Maybe because her posture sucked. She is 5'10" and Cruise is like 5'5". Throughout the movie they had them around the same height, so she was slouching or Tom was standing on a tomato crate. Maybe both.
Meg Ryan though? Straight up fox in the movie. No way Goose lands a piece of ass like that - especially as a RIO and not a real pilot.

It's a sham marriage. He isn't fucking her. He's being fucked by the crew. He's the gimp of the outfit.
His wisecracks are masking the deep sadness and depression inside as he hides his sexuality from his wife. She knows anyway and is getting pipe from a long distance lorry driver who passes her house every couple of weeks or so.

You obviously haven't seen "Cocktail".
It currently has a Tomatometer score of 7% on Rotten Tomatoes. Yes, that's seven percent, I haven't missed a number off that one.

The only thing cool about Iron Eagle was the music and Louis Gossett Jr.
