Super interesting fight to me, and I kind of hope we get to see it someday. If it ever happens, I got Ortega by submission.

I think it depends on what weight it's at. 145 for sure Conor wins - I don't think Ortega could withstand Conor damage while he waits for a mistake like he did with Cub.

155 idk. Probably still Conor but the odds are a little less favorable.

I would pick Ortega at either weight class.

Brian is too young and has too much chin. Once he grabs Conor, the fight's over.

Ortega doesn’t have the footwork or appreciation for distance to compete with Conor on the feet, and he wouldn’t be able to take him down for those same reasons. Dude is too stiff and slow, IMHO. As Conor said after the Alvarez fight: “They’re not on my level. You’ve gotta have size, reach, length... you’ve gotta have some attributes. If you come in anywhere equal to me I’m going to rip your whole head off.”

I'd advise you to read the rules of the forums m8

I'm sure we put in there no trolling.

But seriously... Ortega is dangerous everywhere not to mention hot as fuck.

I'd watch.

Despite my preference for Ortega from what I’ve seen he gets hit during fights. That’s a tough tactic against someone like Conor so I’m going with Conor on this one.

Nate Diaz gets hit a lot, too...

And admittedly he was feeling those shots in the second fight more than ever. If they do a third fight I hope it's at 155 so Conor can drop some of that mass and maybe lose a little force on those shots. Perhaps Ortega is "fresh" enough to not feel those as much since Nate has been through a hell of a lot more than Ortega has and IMO Conor tests chins like few others.

I'm a huge fan of both Nate and Ortega (not as much of a Conor fan TBH) but I recognize the threat Conor poses to those who stand and trade with him and question if Ortega can actually weather that storm or not.

Ortega would get slept IMO.

Conor will never go back down to 145 so it would have to be Ortega moving up, and who knows if he can compete with the same effectiveness at 155.

Conor bounces heads off the canvas at 155.

Of course you think that.

Remember you also thought Aldo would knock Conor out lololol
I def did think that. I dont underestimate Conors power but where he isnt good is where Ortega shines and would drag him there same with Khabib. If it was striker vs striker I will usually go with Conor.

Let's be honest, man. You picked Aldo to beat Conor and you picked Alvarez to beat Conor as well.

You're going to pick against Conor regardless of who the opponent is.

I did pick both of those guys. In Aldo i saw a killer who I thought would fight smart and pick conor apart with leg kicks etc, but Conor easily mentally edged him out and Aldo came out swinging and Conor knew it. Alvarez I thought would do what he usually does which is mix up striking and takedowns but he didnt really do that and stood with Conor and if i knew he would be doing that i wouldve taken conor. I think Conor has some of the best and most accurate striking in the UFC right now. The guy is fast as hell with a sharp left but has bad TDD and bad sub defense and sub par cardio. Those are his strengths and weaknesses, everyone has them.

Ortega's one of the luckiest fighters I've ever seen to still be undefeated, Conor would win this one going away

"Lucky" is what you call someone who's finished everyone he's fought in the UFC?
