There is no "part". We exist, like a rock exists.
Why does the sun exist? It gives energy to the universe.
Moon exists so earth is stable.

Many more suns exist and have no inhabitable planets. Many planets exist without moons. And some will have not been stabilised.
One planet happened to have the right conditions for life. There are plenty more out there. It will be interesting to see if life developed on any them.

In my teens i was little religious then i was atheist for quite a few years , and then i turned into Agnostic Theist.
I believe in the Star Wars mythos-- why not? A simpleton am I? It's really simple imo. Be good and treat others as you would like to be treated. Don't judge. Walk with grace and treat others with such. Easy to know and hard to do. Easier to argue a position than treat an unknown with grace. Boners scare people, better to tuck your weiner. Just kidding. Be kind to others and you are kind to yourself.
There's no real way to define that; I personally think it's relative. We don't have to have a purpose or a part though. Some people think consciousness is the universe observing itself. Some people think we live to help each other. Others think it's to serve a God. We all have our reasons for thinking what we think, but we can all only truly accept things for which we have evidence. In my opinion, faith-based beliefcan be immoral. It doesn't exactly teach rationality or reason. I don't hate it and I don't blame those who have faith, but I do believe it to be dangerous. If we can't prove the answer, we should be exploring proof, not simply settling and banking on something that may or may not be true.
