When prices were normal that number would be closer to $2100. Basically half a mortgage payment up in flames.

Not to mention things like housing that haven't been counted in the CPI for decades.
I was just augmenting you point to say I don't trust the numbers. Bidens presidency was particularly bad . They would say there has been 500 000 new jobs . Later it would get revised down to -17 000.
The 1984 reference was how they would sit around and make up statements to issue. Such as " 50 000 new boots have been made " and they hadn't made a single boot.

He's got a full pardon so other than public shame nothing can happen. Having said that, ruining his reputation sounds good to me. Fucking guy was telling people to wear 3 masks and goggles while reminding them to get their43rd booster.
