If we're talking action shows with funny elements to it as well, then don't forget Dukes of Hazzard and A-Team.

Have to have Diff'rent Strokes.

It's a cartoon, but Fat Albert.

Perfect Strangers was excellent. A lot of the Friday night shows on ABC were enjoyable, but I think that was more of a '90s thing.

Spenser for Hire and Rockford Files are great detective shows, but no real comedy to speak of.

Golden Girls was awesome. I'll fight anyone. Who says otherwise.
Golden Girls was amazing. It's a testament to the show that it didn't just appeal to old broads. I remember being babysat by my aunt, and it would play in the background on her 1970s wooden television cabinet. I came back to it as an adult. My wife and I watch it pretty often.

I was well passed Coach dying without noticing. It was just a picture posted at the end of Diane's second farewell where she leaves with Frasier. Its mostly mentioned with passing, I hear. I guess its the best way they could honor him, bar style. Off site episodes were never as interesting and having a funeral episode wouldn't have felt right.

WKRP can't be denied.

There was a short-lived comedy cop show I've been wanting to re-watch. It was called Sledge Hammer. It only ran for a couple seasons I think. Show was fucking hilarious. The entire intro was just a 30 second slow pan over the main character's .44 magnum as it rested on a satin pillow. The show was over-the-top sexism and comical violence. Heavy satire.

Another nod for Night Court. That and Cheers were my favorites.

Not sure if it fits into the 80s category - but Taxi was fucking hilarious. Tony Danza, Christopher Lloyd, Danny DeVito, Andy Kaufman and a super sexy Marilu Henner.

I remember seeing a few reruns of Taxi, Sanford and Son, All in the family, Whos the Boss, and Mork and Mindy. Not a lot though.

Not like Brady Bunch, Honeymooners, Golden Girls, Punky Brewster, Married with Children and Webster. Most kid shows will be on this side of the list and a few odd ones my brothers sat me down for and I enjoyed because of a certain character.

I'm trying to hard to remember if there was ever even an off site episode. I think there may have been just a couple, the proposal comes to mind

When they took Frasier to the sniper hunt. Hmmm, I'm wondering if they even showed them in the cabin. I think they did. It was brief if anything. It was them leaving and returning. They left Frasier behind to hunt a pretend bird.

Sam goes to Bologna, Italy to break up Frasier and Diane's wedding. That was all in Sam's head, though. OK, he's going for real this time. I know from when my bro used to watch Frasier he ends up with Morticia so he loses Diane. I also know that Whos the Boss lady becomes a waitress later. All this is coming back to me from old memories of sitting with my bros in Indiana around an old 2ton 15 inch TV.

There is a Thanksgiving episode too, I'm not sure how much is not in the bar, but I remember at least some of it is at someone's house and they have a food fight.
