There's an interview with Woody Harrelson about his audition thats pretty funny. They had actually named the character Woody before hand, coincidentally.

Harrelson walks in and says "hi, I'm woody".
Casting director says "I like your confidence but we're screening alot of actors today"
"But I'm woody"

Wtf, I even remember Diane going to the convent. I must've watched a lot of these shows as a very young Nitey.

I was born in 82 so I missed most adult oriented classic sitcoms. I do remember watching Honeymooners and 3 Stooges enjoying it with my bros but that had some slapstick and I believe those were 70s or earlier. I'm on the second season and I fucking love it. Coach is my favorite. Senile old loveable bastards.

Anyways, feel free to share your favorite 80s sitcoms. I watched mostly cartoons those days so I practically missed em all besides the Wonder Years but that had a lot of kid elements.

The character Frasier is winning me over(never could stand his snobby accent and demeanor) and Woody is coming into his own. I prefer the original theme song, though.

What do you all rate Frasier(show)?

The original theme song was sold for only $150. I know the guy was just grateful to get the recognition and sell tickets but that theme was generational gold.

All things considered, Woody does a great cover.

Has Lillith shown up yet? Or Carlas husband?

My favorite recurring character was Harry Anderson. It got him the Night Court gig eventually.
Fun Fact- He started out as a street magician/hustler around the wharf in San Francisco.

I'm wrapping up season 9. What a ride. Krustie Allen has a scrumptious toilet seat. I might check out Frasier. I hate the idea of that but he's hilarious in this show. Maybe its just that he's such a character clash with the rest of the cast and that's why it works but I'll give it a shot.

Dad and Eddie the dog are the stars of the show.

Its smartly written, you'll like it.
Just don't tell people about it, lol.

I still think you'd really like Homocide: Life on the Streets. Its a ride.

it was the perfect ending to that episode, carlson and herb coming in covered with turkey feathers was classic. Even the other actors were trying to hold it in.
The Mr Carlson actor had a special cameo in Different Strokes.......poor, poor Dudley.
