Lol not to be a Debbie downer, but this is sort of how I feel about bond, DC, and Marvel stuffno one under the age of 30 gives a shit about Bond.
They are just action movies. Nothing more
None of the character arcs make me feel anything since the characters are all so thin
But I'm not shitting on them. The movies aren't designed for adults. They are designed for kids who like big booms, fast cars, and unrealistic fight choreography

I thought Craig did just fine. A good director can always offset a smaller actor. Just look at how many movies Tom Cruise has made as a leading man, he's like 5'2".
If they want to do a series of movies, they need an actor who is 35 or younger, which rules out all the obvious choices.
I have zero confidence now that Amazon has total creative control though. They will right royally fuck this up. Bond is dead in my mind, and I will only believe otherwise when I see it.
I think Cavill would make an excellent Bond, but there's pretty much zero chance of it happening for a bunch of reasons.

I thought he walked away from the Witcher on netflix because they went away from the books too much. And he agreed to do Warhammer because they agreed not to fuck with it. That's what I heard.

Amazon weren’t happy with sisters of battle and silent sisterhood, had to fuck with the lore and even paid games workshop to retcon the lore ahead of the series to include female custodes, usual shit, as soon as the series was announced you know it’s going to be gay once Amazon are involved.
