I've been told putting a small amount of vinegar in your wash instead of fabric softener will have the same effect.

Not sure if it's true, though. I've seen stuff saying it does and stuff saying it doesn't do anything.
Yes it does. It's what my wife now uses.

Vinegar is a miracle liquid. Issued by God himself for use amongst his beautiful and glorious people.

Hey this a no judgements zone.
Oh I'm not at all judging. I just don't think this site has a strong contingent of "oooooh...the aroma of beans & pickles makes my nether regions moist" here.

4chan on the other hand...there's *bound* to be some of his people there.

I just want him to feel wanted.

I'm starting to understand the term pickle smoocher in a strange new light.

KVR doesn't like dick after all, just pickles!

And a 12 dollar bottle of snuggles fabric softener? Use the damn 2 dollar box of sheets in the dryer.
We run dryer balls. They work out to a couple bucks a piece and last for years before they need replacement. For $12 she could have got like ten years worth of dryer balls.

Where does all the lint/critter hair go? Balls just knock it loose? Something about wool that makes diminishes the static that makes stuff stick?

I'm so confused on what this actually does? Just beat your clothes soft?

I use tennis balls in the dryer on cool to basically beat the water out of down stuff and keep the filling fluffed instead of clumping. Saw at the laundry mat the employees were using them for big blankets and curtains too.

Doesn't make it out of the washing machine for the most part.

In 20-some years of doing my own laundry, static has never been an issue.

Just beat your clothes soft?
I believe so, yes. Because the wool is soft it's not abrasive to your clothes like I imagine the plastic ones would be.

Dryer balls are great. They also drastically lower the time it takes to dry your laundry, by 1/3 or so. I bought six 4-5 years ago and they're still going strong. I hang pants and collared shirts, everything else goes into the dryer

Washing laundry just a little tide powder and vinegar or borax, but never both. I usually alternate. Keeps clothes cleaner, colors fade less, and they will have no smell.

I don't know about the fabric softener thing, but it does help get smells out of clothes if you put some in with your detergent. It's also a great weed killed.
