Lol, we had a big folding wooden rack that we'd set up in front of the wall heater or floor grate heater thing that would burn your foot if you stepped on it.lol I've done the clothesline before. Clothes definitely end up stiff as a board.
Besides - great in the summer...shit dries quick AF.
Leaves you kinda screwed in the winter, though. lol
sublimation is your friend in winterlol I've done the clothesline before. Clothes definitely end up stiff as a board.

it builds character!Bullshit, lol
Maybe it was the cheapest detergent available but I remember t-shirts and jeans being stiff as a board off the clothes line.
Look man, Toughskins were already like wearing sandpaper made out of cardboard. They didn't need to be any stiffer!!!it builds character!
The fact that modern children will never have to experience this for themselves is criminal.Look man, Toughskins were already like wearing sandpaper made out of cardboard. They didn't need to be any stiffer!!!
Let's not talk about the husky size and move onLook man, Toughskins were already like wearing sandpaper made out of cardboard. They didn't need to be any stiffer!!!
Big laundry is watching us!Since we're speaking about laundry, does anyone find it hilarious how all the big brands like Tide claim their stuff is the best but have to come up with additional stuff for us to add to make their products super duper work like some booster liquids or those crystals?

Yeah, we used em for a while. Work fine, easier to store than a jug.Since this has turned into a laundry thread, has anyone tried those detergent sheets?

We got our first dryer and microwave when I was young too. Maybe 6-7. I can still vaguely remember it. We were just poor though, most people had this shit by then.Lol, we had a big folding wooden rack that we'd set up in front of the wall heater or floor grate heater thing that would burn your foot if you stepped on it.
Got your clothes pretty stiff too.
Until 7th grade the only people I knew with a dryer were my grandparents. It was pretty much the norm in the older places in downtown Sacramento to only have a washer hookup and a clothes line.
In 7th grade we moved to the suburbs and the place came with one. I thought we'd finally made it to middle class, lol.
Saw my first microwave in 11th grade.
I don't understand why everyone buys all these addons. I just buy the big Kirkland Signature brand jug of liquid detergent, don't use anything else. Costco ran out of the liquid detergent last time we went and we got the powdered version this time. I'm fine with the powdered version also not sure why we even switched to the liquid version.Since we're speaking about laundry, does anyone find it hilarious how all the big brands like Tide claim their stuff is the best but have to come up with additional stuff for us to add to make their products super duper work like some booster liquids or those crystals?

wives is the answer, it's like the kumite if I throw a load of laundry in with my wife. I am currently 300-0 against her.I don't understand why everyone buys all these addons
Great now I'm the guy who smells like beans and pickles.I've been told putting a small amount of vinegar in your wash instead of fabric softener will have the same effect.
Not sure if it's true, though. I've seen stuff saying it does and stuff saying it doesn't do anything
You've got to to time it just right. Work pants take forever in the dryer so I put them outside. Your clothes end up smelling like reebar, though.Bullshit, lol
