Got to the Hard Rock early. Mrs PatK sat down at a penny slot and I went to get her a beer and a cocktail for me. When I come back, she's like "I just won $250", and only put five bucks in.

Sublime with Rome was great and the place was packed, so we knew it was going to be a bitch to get out. So we decided to gamble a bit.

I put $5 in a penny slot and won $205.

Now today it's raining and I feel like shit and hopefully aren't coming down with something, as apparently COVID is making the rounds again. I have a big customer coming to visit tomorrow and a potentially new big customer on Tuesday. Going to run to Walgreens to pick up a test and some cold meds in a bit

On a recent John Shrek McPhee podcast, he said if Glock made a 48 frame pistol that carried 30 rounds of .22LR, he'd have no problems CCWing that daily.
pretty hard to get them lil bitches to feed consistency isn't it?
Last semi auto .22 I had was real finicky about ammo, but it was a 30 year old High Standard so I didn't try any of the modern .22 semi autos

I guess the mouse was a rat instead. We'll, there's probably mice in the shed too but I found the rat. Eliminated her and the babies with a shovel to the neck. Also set up 8 glue traps and 6 snap traps. May have to get some bigger ones too though since I'm not just dealing with mice.

Also set up my new ground blind to get a feel for set up and breakdown. Fairly happy with it. The door sucks so I might try and figure something else out with it. Hate zippers on these. My son is in there in this pic sitting on my chair. Does a fairly good job at hiding him but I can definitely still see his skin so I'm going to have to camo up. No big deal. It'll make me feel like I'm really hunting instead of just going out to my backyard. Lol

Not the actual one, of course, but this is what my wife carries. She had a Micro 9 but saw this and had to have it. I approved because I like her not having a manual safety.

Added a compensator to my G17 for that Roland Special look. Shame this place doesn't have an app for ease of pictures.

Pretty much runs like an app, posting pics is easy.
I don't know if I did something with my settings when I first joined back then.
Are talking about like flkr kinks or something,

Pretty emotional moment for me this weekend. I gave my 23-year-old niece who has been really getting into firearms and training over the last few years my first gun this weekend. It was my Mom's grandfather's, then her father's, then my father's and then mine when my dad gave it to me when I was 8 or so. Springfield Model 53B single shot bolt action .22 lr. It's really the only family heirloom we have and I always want to keep it in the family. Shes the youngest and last of our family name. It's very unlikely I will ever have children so decided to give it to her. Been in my feels about it pretty strong boys. I will never forget my dad passing it down to me and all the good times I had with that rifle as a boy.
Going to southern Indiana to my best friends place on Saturday to shoot and grill out, he's got a nice little range on his property. My niece and her boyfriend are meeting my girl and I, and two other of my best friends and their wives down there. Should be a great time boys!

Looking for information on where to find 223/556 ammo deals. I don’t mind signing up for emails and waiting for sales. Need target and defensive loads. Also, what is you go to AR defensive load and why?
