So they should be able to use guns in the military, but shouldn't be allowed to own them?
You don't see the difference between someone in a war zone, surrounded by hundreds or more of equally trained warriors, in Iraq, fighting a war, compared to chilling back at home in the states?
If you are 19 years old, fought in a war, come back home at 19 and you can't wait 18 months until you turn 21 to then buy a gun there is a problem there.
THey also drive tanks in the military as well, so should they be allowed to come back home and go drink a tank on the beltway?
Again, if you are a year or 2 away from being 21 years old and you can't find anything better to do with yourself than shoot a gun when you are back at home, there is truly a problem there.
Why do you think you are not allowed to legally buy a beer until 21, is it because the goverment just wants to be mean? Or is maybe something to do wtih teh judgement of people at that age.
