What a joke, you can post some bullshit list endorsed by a bunch of quacks but that's all it is. They have to pretend all those things are real sources of trauma to keep business rolling in.
Here's the real list:
  1. Someone very close to you died or was/has been injured.
  2. You witnessed extreme suffering, brutality or death up close.
  3. You killed others or had to be brutal to them for a sustained period of time.
  4. Suffering injury or disability.
Your dog died? Get over it, that's how it is.
You thought you were going to be hurt but in the end nothing happened? Yeah, negative on that one too; go actually get injured and come back to the victim's table.

Do people in car wrecks that walk away uninjured get ptsd?

Do soldiers who get shot at (not shot) get ptsd?

Not according to you.

But that doesn't jive with reality. They in fact do end up with ptsd.

I'm not sure where your list comes from but it's just not suported by anything but arbitrary choice.

Being legitimately in fear of one's life i.e. a person is fully aware how exposed to death they are, could make it on my list.
That still doesn't help the case you're trying to make.

What case am I trying to make?
Rose thought she was in danger to a point that it has affected her beyond the immediate event. There's support for others in similar situations that also have such ptsd after events outside of your list.

You don't see how that can be and want her to (wo)man up.

I get it, it's hard to imagine someone else having such a visceral response to something you see as minor. I'll leave it at that. I hear you. But I just see lots of example that fall outside of your description and I think that you and others are being dismissive that some events are justifiably more harmful to some than maybe they would be to you.

let me tell the guys I used to work with, who killed people and broke things for a living, that their PTSD is bullshit.
Are you seriously comparing killing people to being a few rows back when someone threw something at a bus?

Because that's a great example of a False Analogy Fallacy.

You have been trying to make the case that a bus window smashing in front of a professional mma fighter is a legitimate source of ptsd and could require therapy.
You don't see how that can be and want her to (wo)man up
No, she can be as flakey on it as she wants.

I understand you think it's beneficial to be sympathetic. I think that does more harm than good and I think she's putting on a show.

If someone really needs professional help for every damned thing that goes bump in the night then you can't take their claims too seriously. I mean, what the hell: if a baseball came crashing through her window would she need therapy?
She'd be sound as a pound as long as it wasn't from a major league game, otherwise she'd be distraught.
Nothing we've written has affected our respective opinions so I'm leaving it at that.

Unless Conor's legal team can convince a jury that "rankings don't mean anything", Chiesa can easily make a case that he would have been in consideration - and likely that he would have been chosen. That's all he really needs to do to show that Conor deprived him of expected income.

He won't be able to argue lost income if he won the fight, but he can argue for lost income of PPV/Headliner/Title Fight in his current contract.

It's a civil suit, so Chiesa just has to convince the jury that it's more likely than not that he would have gotten the nod. Considering that the commission wouldn't let other fighters (Paul Felder) take the shot due to their low rankings, it seems like an easy point to win with a jury.
This all could be true but it's still a shake down based on speculation. I have no problem at somebody holding another accountable but do it for what's actually been taken from you. If Michael wants to go after Conor for missing his schedule fight against Pettis (even though Pettis missed weight iirc) then that's an appropriate course of action. Trying to claim he missed a title fight due to Conor is him getting greedy.

You said that tough people who fight for a living don't get PTSD...because...toughness.
It's a retarded position to take, because it's demonstrably false.

you need to go beyond watching "American Sniper" for the 8th time to understand PTSD.

In order for the law to provide remediation, he only needs to prove that it's more likely than not. Chiesa had already made weight and was the highest-ranked fighter available to take the fight. None of that is in dispute, so (absent a counter-argument) it seems pretty open-shut.

There is no way to know who the fight was gonna be offered to. They offered the it to an unranked guy before offering it to Iaquinta.

NYSAC rules out Paul Felder as UFC 223 headliner opposite Khabib Nurmagomedov because he's unranked

So no, not open-shut. Not at all actually.

again - you don't understand PTSD.
It's not a binary condition, it's a spectrum of symptoms which vary based on the person and the incident which triggered the stress.

Conor's lawyer could ask Dana:
Mr. White, how likely was it that Mr. Chiesa was due for a title fight should he have won the fight in question?
Dana's response:
How likely? Extremel un!

Case dismissed.

Quacks have led the public to confuse a lot of flakiness with ptsd.
It's a money-making racket.
(I have to admit, I'm just messing with you a bit here).

It's like everyone now having ADD/ADHD because they want to be prescribed amphetamines.

Most of them have no deficit at all in terms of their attention. They're just lazy or stupid.

that's not the case.

it's whether or not it was likely that Chiesa was going to be offered the fight with Khabib at UFC 223 after Holloway was ruled out.

And if you think an attorney is going to have a hard time annihilating Egg's credibility....well, you're SuperTrolling...

As @conor mcgregor nut hugger posted they didn't start to look for the next opponent based off rankings. Also Paul was on a three fight winning streak while Michael lost to Lee in his last outing. Getting a title shot when you lost your last fight isn't likely or make for an open and shut case.

By no means am I excusing Conor's actions here. There's a good case for a few who actually suffered from the bus fight but use facts and real losses to support your case, not fairy tales full of would have should haves.
